Integrate kickstart with PXE

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

Please advise how to integrate my kickstart setup with
pxe.

I have:

1) A perfect working kickstart setup.
2) A windows 2000 machine acting as DHCP server.
3) A Linux system configured as PXE server.Installed
RPM for PXE and configured the files /etc/services,
/etc/xinetd.conf and /etc/rc.d/rc.local (/etc/pxe.conf
and /etc/mftpd.conf are taken as default).

Now when I boot my pxe compliant client by making
"Network" as the first boot device, it finds the IP
address from the DHCP server, boots from the PXE
server and then waits for NFS image and other
configuration (language, mouse, disk partitioning
etc..).

Any suggestions here will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,
AM
