I just have a few variables in the start of my post section and then
later on I echo the HOSTNAME variable into /etc/hostname and also setup
/etc/hosts that way.

Subject: How to specify hostname while kickstart

Hello List,

I'm using RedHat Kickstart with rh7.3 and I want to create custom
installation disks.

When I do not specify in my ks.cfg with the lines
network --device ....
and
url --url ...
it works rather I want it to work, i.e. the system asks
for network information and installation method.
But how can I force to ask for the HOSTNAME and DOMAIN ?
During installation the HOSTNAME is localhost and DOMAIN is localdomain.

Thanks for any help appreciated.

Thomas.
