I don't follow what you are looking for.. the frontend will create a standardized ks.cfg.  This will help to automated your installs. We do something similar to this to handle kernel upgrades, ISV
package selection, patches, post install etc.. This is for fresh installs only.

Oh is this just for kickstart configs?

I thought this was for the whole system at any time - not just at
install time.
