I have the exact same setup where I work.
The problem is that the broadcom(tg3) adapters do not work well with pump.
You will find that if you bring the interfaces up with and address of
0.0.0.0 and then request an address by through dhpc it will work. There
are several ways of getting around this with a kickstart. The easiest
solution is to use the pxe kickstart rather than floppy. This works
without any modifications. Another way is to create a custom boot disk
using busybox. Have busybox bring up the interface with an address 0.0.0.0
and then from the busybox init run the /sbin/loader. You will also have to
modify the anaconda loader program because it checks to see if it is
process number zero, and if it isn't process zero then it exits.
