I noticed the following HOWTO: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Remote-Serial-Console-HOWTO/getty-mingetty.html Mentions not to use mingetty for serial line access. I fired it up and seems to work fine. Why is it bad to use mingetty for serial access? Thanks! -Dan
