Kickstart, is a program developed by redhat to automate network installs. It is a very slick program, allowing you to put a floppy in a computer, walk away, and come back with the computer installed and ready to go.
If you want to find out more about it, take a look here: http://www.samag.com/documents/s=1169/sam0001c/0001c.htm
If you are in fact somehow on this list by accident, you can unsubscribe here: https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/kickstart-list
Two tips, if you are interested in kickstart: one, dhcp has problems in kickstart when connected to a cisco catalyst & do any configuration scripting in a script that runs at first boot... it's much easier than playing with %post --nochroot
Have a nice day,
Nick

Dear Nick
I'm very sorry but I don't know how I manage to be subscribed to kickstrart
as I don't recall what website I was on so, therefore, I have no idea of
what kickstart is or what it implies. Could you explain a little about it if
it is not too much trouble.?
Thank you,
Yours sincerely,
Mary Lycett aka bluegiantuk
