Try doing it with a console statement equalling /dev/console too.
just for grins - not sure if that will work though.
I'm almost certain I've done this with success, but I don't have a
machine handy to try it on. I think it was ornery about actually taking
input from one or the other, though, or maybe I'm misremembering altogether.
