I ran into the same problem of not being able to search the mailing list a few months back. Thanks to someones suggestion, I installed grepmail now I can search an the archive downloadable from the following address provided you have a username and password for the list --> https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/private/kickstart-list/ As for your second problem, I don't have any answers but here are a couple troubleshooting tips: -- look at the other windows such as Alt-F3 or Alt-F4 for additional clues as to what is occurring -- does it work to do a 'chvt 3' in the post section and echo to the screen
