No, It's a Tyan S2510 with 2 Pentium III processors and 1 GB of memory. I discovered the Bios was at 1.0.3, and just updated it to 1.0.6. It has an IBM DTLA-307030 30.6 GB drive. I discovered it was connected to the gray cable, which is for the slave drive. So I switched it to the black cable (it is and was set for Master). Then I connected it back up, powered it back on, and it booted. But then I rebooted it, and it wouldn't boot again. The screen shows loading linux............./... (22 dots in all), but never gets any further. Then I reinstalled, and got the same result as above. Also, on the serial console I then saw *****************************. - Mark alan barrow wrote: > > S2460 ? > > -----Original Message----- > From: kickstart-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:kickstart-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mark Denni > Sent: 23 August 2002 04:29 > To: kickstart-list@xxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Installs OK, but doesn't boot > > I am installing RH 7.2 on a tyan motherboard with DHCP.
