RE: genhdlist

I have never ran the genhdlist command to point to the /RedHat/RPMS
directory....I always run it as genhdlist /redhat/i386 or wherever path you
have that has both the base and RPMS directories in it.  It never worked
correctly using it with other paths.

 Why does genhdlist require the full/absolute path to the RedHat/RPMS
dir?

if I try: 'gendhlist .' from /pub/redhat/linux/7.2/i386/

shouldn't it _just work_?
