pkgorder problem

When I try to run pkgorder on RH7.1 on iSeries, I get the error

Traceback (innermost last):
  File "/usr/lib/anaconda-runtime/pkgorder", line 42, in ?
    arch = arch, matchAllLang = 1)
  File "/usr/lib/anaconda/comps.py", line 541, in __init__
    log("archList=%s", self.archList)
  File "/usr/lib/anaconda/log.py", line 27, in __call__
    raise RuntimeError, "log file not open yet"
RuntimeError: log file not open yet

I do not know where the open to logfile should happen and why it is not
happening when I call it. I do not want to modify the anaconda rpm. Is
there a way to get around this?

Also I read the discussion on the list about "problem with order of
installation of package". So is pkgorder necessary only if there are
going to be more than 1 CD? If I run just genhdlist and not pkgorder,
would the rpms be installed in the correct order?

BTW, I am unable to do a search on this list. I never get any results!!

thanks
Liza
