Hi all,

I´m trying to install RH7.0 in kickstart mode in the following way:

=> I´m booting from cdrom and I put ks.cfg file in a floppy disk.

When the boot prompt appears I type:

boot: linux ks=floopy

but I get a error message:

"Error opening: kickstart file /temp/ks.cfg.

No such file or directory.

Have I done any thing wrong as described above?

Sorry but I´m not a expert in linux and English language too :-).

Tudo bem?

The error message means that it could not find a valid ks.cfg file on the floppy. Did you format the floppy properly (ext2 IIRC)? Did you use a Windows machine to edit the file? Did you put it in the top level of the floppy, and name it ks.cfg?
