Would you mind explain why was I able to use usb floppy to boot from floppy.
I saw initrd.img and vmlinuz were being read and executed? Looks like the
system has no problem reading from usb floppy drive.

This is because USB floppies aren't supported by the first stage of the
installer in anything prior to Roswell, so you won't be able to get your
kickstart config from the floppy on these animals yet :(
