3COM 3c905C and Kickstart

I'm having a strange problem; maybe someone on
this list can help.

I'm trying to do a kickstart install on a machine.
The config file specifies that the network should be
setup using DHCP. Unfortunately, the DHCP server never
gets any requests for an IP from this client machine.
Even tcpdump shows no broadcast traffic emanating from it.

On the other hand, I can install the machine just fine
using a static IP; and once installed, I can setup DHCP on
the machine by running "dhcpcd" just fine.

The card is a "3c905C Tornado" from 3COM. Any ideas, tips
or tricks?

Ajay
