Kickstarting a scsi based system with an e100 NIC?

I am having problems getting kicktstart to work on a machine with a 3ware 
scsi card [3w_xxxx.o] and an intel e100 NIC card [e100.o]. I read through 
all the posts and have tried rebuilding the boot disk but as many have 
relentlessly tried and failed...so too did I. I am going to try Kelley 
Spoon's approach (modifying the second stage installer).

Is there a successful way of doing this? Would greatly appreciate the help.
