sorry, guys, i goofed up... i had posted that i can
send email to users from the root acct... actually, i can send email to the root
acct, from any user acct, but not vice versa...
so, i cannot email to a user 'amit' from the root
acct, but, the reverse works. when i choose to reply to the mail, it again
fails. the error msg given is 'user not found'.
i checked var/log/maillog, but the status field
shows user unknown.
I have set up aliases for the user in through
mailconf.
pls give the settings reqd in detail, if
possible.
