really depends on which part you are talking about.  by default funcd
runs as root, and by default you have to be root on the overlord to
access the certs that allow you to talk to the minions.  all
communication between the systems is encrypted using these ssl
certificates, which i believe are 2048 byte encryption. so in that
environment there is minimal exposure. As with anything thefurther you
open access the more diligentyou need to be with your configuration.
