I use pyOpenSSL [1] with a patch [2] (that will hopefully be included in
the upcoming release of pyOpenSSL) that allows you to read/write/modify
CRL files.
While i'm looking up the url's, i notice you already posted a comment on
launchpad :) Anyway, here's a piece of code from my own app, that
reads a CRL and prints some info about the revoked certificates:
Yah - I saw it. Thanks for doing it. But since I have no chance of getting
that backported to run on systems like hel5, I just went the subprocess openssl
route b/c at least it is available.
thanks for that code - that will help us in the future, though I wonder if
func should start thinking about using python-nss for the FIPS
certification.
Any thoughts?
