I see recent patches include base64 encoded files, such as jar files.
This is bad.
These are unacceptable for inclusion in git and will not be accepted;
further, they make the patches unreadable.
If you must reference external jar files, allow your Makefile to wget
them from elsewhere, or include the full source to build them.
Also, never check in build output to source control.
