Hello Martin,
You can do it by following,
$ vi /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/func/SSLConnection.py
DEFAULT_TIMEOUT = 20
You can set this paramater long enough respond to your operation.

async would be great, but not so much for my case. I am happy that
func would execute it one after another. Is there a way to set the
timeout longer ?

Hello,
I try to run
func <server> call command run "/tmp/test.sh"
The script test.sh exists and takes quite long time to finish.
Func respons with message: 110, 'Operation timed out.'.
how to fix it ?
We are currently working on command line support for async calls. It
adds --async commandline option and allows to take advantage of async
API. This is not supported in current func builds so you have to
use git
version.
