Hi,

this is a great idea, it will help a lot of admins keeping the bad guys out on server farms, e.g: when some spammers are sending thousands of mails to your servers, you can ban them with one simple call. As soon as I have a bit time, I would like to test this module.

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm working on my first module - iptables module. It is not intended to
provide system-config-firewall functionality, instead it should
provide easy way of remotely making simple temporary changes in
iptables. It could be used to temporary ban some IP addresses (for
example after detecting bruteforce password attacks) on all machines.
It's only a draft and I would like to know your opinions about it
before I spend time finishing it (adding possibility to REJECT
instead of DROP, formating output data, etc).
Opinions like "it's all wrong" are welcome too :)
