FuncWeb is not quite ready for including features like this yet (there's a lot of design to do), but for it to be usable, we'd ideally want this packaged a "jboss" Func module and not just a script that uses the Func API to call things via the shell.

yes, of course, this script want to be only a sample script (that you
can add to wiki), what I want to add is also possibility to deploy a war
or ear to certain jboss istance .-)

Sure. It sounds generally useful enough to be a module if it can do deployments.

It sounds like something like this would be interesting to include in "contrib", though I wish it would use the existing modules for process control/netstat versus just using the "command" module in an old school sense. The reason being is that we do not want Func to exist only as a way to invoke shell commands and the modules we build on are going to grow as time goes on.

yes, AFAIK there's no a netstat module. I can start to write it.

There is one in "networktest" though this is just a wrapper to a shell call presently. Ideally it would be modified to take more specific
arguments... but it is there though.

Take a look at what modules are available now, and if you need more functionality added to them, feel free to submit patches for those.

ok :-)

thanks Luca
