#390: Add wcidff.org and fp.o/easyfix to getfedora.org -------------------------+------------------------ Reporter: jflory7 | Owner: webmaster Type: enhancement | Status: closed Priority: major | Milestone: ASAP Component: getfedora | Resolution: duplicate Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | -------------------------+------------------------ Changes (by robyduck): * status: new => closed * resolution: => duplicate Comment: Recently we are getting more and more requests to add links to getfedora.org. Getfedora has a specific target and a specific role within our websites, but it's not a link collector for any webpage we have (just think about how many apps we have). Furthermore it is a user targeted website and has the main function to deliver our editions to the end users. That said, let me reply to the two links: * We have a discussion on pagure about whatcanidoforfedora, and I think this is a website which we can mention on getfedora.org because it tells end users how to get involved. So this is useful, but we are still finding out where the best place would be. https://pagure.io/fedora-websites/issue/4 * Easyfix tickets are not for end users, they are too specific to stay on getfedora.org. We should not put them there, we should not put them on any website at all, but we need (and we actually DO) to redirect contributors to easyfix tickets from the repo on pagure, or from our wiki page.[[br]] More generally speaking, if we want to add the easyfix page somewhere, then the link should go to whatcanidoforfedora. Let's discuss whatcanidoforfedora on pagure to keep the discussion where it is. Thanks. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-websites/ticket/390#comment:1> fedora-websites <https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Websites> Fedora Website Team's Trac instance -- websites mailing list websites@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/websites@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
