 Totally agree with immanetize. The issue actually occurred to me once. I
 had to wipe the disk and restart from scratch.

 The download-splash would be the logical place to put a warning; but it
 doesn't seem like a place it would fit in. We can put it under the link,
 but it would look a bit awkward. We would also place a link to "please
 read me" under the download link.

 What do you think? We could have a question saying "are you using an UEFI
 system? (are you dual-booting with Windows 8.x?)", then use jQuery to
 slide down a notice about being consistent with BIOS/UEFI.
