Discussions on this topic have been ongoing on the users and developers mailing lists, for example. I just want to note that I believe there IS a Gnome Classic available in Fedora 15 and 16. I've logged in to it myself on Fedora 15, and I understand there were improvements to both Gnome 3 and the Classic for Fedora 16. If what you are looking for is a Fedora Spin that has Gnome Classic by default, there is a process for making that happen: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Spins When there is a critical mass of interested people, they can get together and work up a formal spin. A Fedora Remix can always be produced without many special requirements: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Remix Hope this helps, - - Karsten > I would like to say I am interested in using Fedora but am > frustrated with the new Gnome 3 desktop.
