 ok. The board is good with doing something like this as a short term
 solution while an events setup is worked on.

 So, lets discuss logistics?

 would a fudcon.fedoraproject.org page, that has a good link/info to
 fudcon.fedoraproject.org/milan/ or the like work?

 What are you intending to write the site in? Is it something we could look
 at just adding to our existing websites infrastructure and hosting
 ourselves? (note that we have many geographically diverse sites and
 redundency, so this might be better than a single S3 site).

 I've added some of our websites folks to comment here...
