Aha- I generally use background instead of list-style-image, as I can
get more positioning control with the background-position.  The 50% was
an oversight on my part, though- I completely overlooked that common case.

Strange- that's exactly how it's currently done at fedoraproject.org (I
was forced to use a pixel width due to the banner image).  I think you
can avoid the keepright class entirely by adding margin-left: 12.5em; to
#content.
