Hi *,
Well, my name is Fred and I am a Belgian Fedora Ambassador for two years now.
So, this is what I wrote on the Ambassador mailling list - see below - about what I have noticed in my country.
I have got the same remarks for OpenSuse - www.opensuse.org -
So if I can help you to improve the Fedora websites.
Well, if you want me of course. :)
Let me know how.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Dear *,
I would just like to notify you the good job that Ubuntu community is doing again and again.
Ok, it is true that the Fedora wiki site is usefull.
However it is usefull mostly for Fedora people not for newbies.
Thinks as a newbie or simple visitor and ask you what you would think if you would go to the fedoraproject web site in order to retreive the basics.
Look a little bit on what ubuntu community is doing, obviously they have kept their wiki but they have also created simple websites which are specific to a country in order to be closer to people of that area and who are interesting to know a little bit more what is ubuntu or to install it.
Thinks again as a newbie or simple visitor and ask you the question if you will trust a community which is situated far away or a community which is closer.
This is an example of what is done by Ubuntu in Belgium http://ubuntu-be.org and i wondering what Fedora is doing
The goal here is not to blame Fedora community, you are doing great job. :)
No, the goal here is to be reactive !
Tell me what you think about it.
Best Regards
Fred
