There are a couple of steps to be done after the bits and pieces are
installed.
Have you...
sudo a2enmod proxy_fcgi setenvif
sudo systemctl enable php8.X-fpm
then...
if httpd is not running...
sudo systemctl start httpd
else
sudo systemctl reload httpd
and finally...
sudo systemctl restart php8.X-fpm
Should get the ball rolling.
