I created a qemu-kvm virtual machine from

Win 9.1.
Wine 10.x does not run Approach properly. Wine
is always two steps forward and three step
backward.
Anyway, MATE won't let me see hidden files
with a lot of File Open on various software,
such as Leafpad. I have to open a command shell
and cd into the hidden directory to start the
program. It is ANNOYING.
How do I tell MATE I was to always see hidden files?
Let me Google that for you:

Hi Jeff,
That works in Caja, which I already did, but
not in Leafpad or gedit.
I uses search.brave.com and did not come up with
an answer either.
Thank you for the link anyway.
