Keep in mind if you want the microphone to work you need to pick a profile "headset head unit", which will give you mono (not stereo). Also last I tried this under kde I got strange results. If you click on icon in the tray then it does not show the headset microphone, but if you goto configure audio devices (the hamburger symbol at top) it does show the pixel microphone and it's selected.
