Did you try to use a brand new user without all your configurations? I mean a new user for your Linux box not for the Quora webpage.
I hadn't done this because the problem also occurs on Android (on two different devices), but I decided there was nothing to lose so I created a new Linux user and tried again.
And it worked.
Good to know
The only difference is that when I connected to Quora.com I chose to allow cookies. Now back at my original account, I can't see how to get this behaviour. Simply deleting cookies for the site and logging out doesn't seem to do it. There appears to be no setting on the site itself that affects this.
Have you tried to clean the whole cache after log out from quora and before login again?
