Hi, I upgraded my six-year old 2018 Dell XPS 13 laptop from F40 to F41 last night using: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/quick-docs/upgrading-fedora-offline/ I followed all the instructions there and did not notice any warnings, much less errors. Indeed, I was thinking that how smooth this upgrade process (hats off to the awesome Fedora people: I have been using Fedora since Yarrow in 2003) has almost always been for me, and even to wonder why not simply integrate into a rolling release (but that is a topic for another day). But that was too quick! However, after the upgrade to F41 from F40, the system no longer wakes up from hibernate. I seem to think that this has never happened over multiple releases for this machine that has been updated every night, and upgraded every six months, since that first installation. What happens is that it goes into "Booting Fedora..." but after a while, it gives up and starts rebooting the system. Are there any files/behavior that have changed that I need to take care of to get hibernate working again? What are the logfiles etc that might help here? Many thanks and best wishes, Ranjan -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
