Whenever I try to mount some additional partitions on the system drives the message box comes up saying that "Error mounting filesystem 'Not authorized to perform operation (udisks-error-quark, 4)'". External drives mount under the invoking user as expected.
Does the file-system driver for those devices require the use of sudo to run the mount now? For a long time the CIFS driver has only allowed the mount of a device under root, it has banned the use of the "users" option to mount the device under the invoking user.
