Many years ago one of my supplier's computers went belly-up, and the
only reason they didn't go under is they did manual invoicing (those
books with carbon copy paper in them). Without that, they'd have
little idea who owed what. I'd always done the same, paper invoices in
and out, just use the computer as a searchable filing system.
Since the last recession, I have seem several business
that have just chucked their computers. Part
of me does not blame them
