I had a bad upgrade a couple of years ago. I had to install/reinstall the following for KDE on Fedora. * sddm (reinstall) * kde-style-breeze (install) And I had to remove this to get rid of the Soft Input Panel/Virtual Keyboard. I installed it after things broke, but it was not needed: * gtk3-engines-breeze Checking my F40 machine, it looks like sddm is still being used: $ sudo ps -A | grep -i sddm 1450 ? 00:00:00 sddm 1621 ? 00:00:00 sddm-helper Jeff -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
