That seems to be the standard linux "improvement" path. Get rid of something everyone uses, replace it with an incomplete substitute, then work on fixing the new and "improved" thing based on how loud people scream about the missing bits :-). I seem to recall it took 3 or 4 years for NetworkManager to be able to deal with some of the obscure stuff I was doing with bridges and such using the "obsolete" network scripts. (Though I'm getting along fine with NetworkManager these days, but it has had a lot of improvements over the years). -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
