I'm under cinnamon. For some time now, the keyboard shortcut
Ctrl+Alt+T randomly delivers a Konsole or a gneome-terminal, which
I find very annoying.
I tried to disable the shortcut and re-enable it, to disable all
extensions, etc, nothing changes really.
My gsetting do not mention konsole at all. The ones that seem
relevant look reasonable to me, so I'm a bit lost...
org.cinnamon.desktop.default-applications.terminal exec
'gnome-terminal'
org.cinnamon.desktop.default-applications.terminal exec-arg '--'
org.cinnamon.desktop.keybindings.media-keys terminal
['<Primary><Alt>t']
I don't know why you would get a Konsole, but those settings look
like you would get a gnome-terminal using that key combination.
That is also my expectation and the behaviour I want.... But, I'm
still getting Konsole quite often instead....
Your original question was very unclear. So the real problem is that
sometimes you get konsole instead and you don't want that. I wonder
if konsole has also somehow registered for that shortcut. Check its
settings or maybe just see if you can uninstall it.
Sorry, I thought I was. I do not think another shortcut is registered
(at least konsole does not appear in gsettings).
Uninstalling konsole seems an overkill but definitely works and as I do
not care of konsole is a solution for me.
