If I do dnf reinstall kernel-core (not sure why dkms lines show
twice, or why there is none for 6.6.3 kernel that is also installed??
/boot/loader/entries shows the 3 kernels, but reinstall only does the
two.

dkms: autoinstall for kernel 6.5.6-300.fc39.x86_64 was skipped
since the kernel headers for this kernel do not seem to be installed
dkms: autoinstall for kernel 6.5.6-300.fc39.x86_64 was skipped
since the kernel headers for this kernel do not seem to be installed

Running scriptlet: kernel-core-6.6.4-200.fc39.x86_64 4/4
dkms: running auto installation service for kernel
6.6.4-200.fc39.x86_64 Done.
dkms: running auto installation service for kernel
6.6.4-200.fc39.x86_64 Done.

Verifying : kernel-core-6.6.4-200.fc39.x86_64 1/4
Verifying : kernel-core-6.6.4-200.fc39.x86_64 2/4

Verifying : kernel-core-6.5.6-300.fc39.x86_64 4/4

Reinstalled:
kernel-core-6.5.6-300.fc39.x86_64
kernel-core-6.6.4-200.fc39.x86_64

Complete!

Thanks for info. Just seeing those dkms messages seemed that
something was not correct?
