ISO9660 is a data filesystem for CDs, DVDs, etc. (extended in various ways over time), but regular audio CDs use a different data format. The kernel doesn't know anything about that format (it's just a stream of bits to the kernel); you have to use software that knows how to read the disc directly and play/extract the audio. -- Chris Adams <linux@xxxxxxxxxxx> -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
