RHAT/Fedora's version has some patent/licensing encumbered
codecs/encoders/decoders removed. Unfortunately this list would exceed
the amount of a posting being appropriate for this mailing list.
As a rule, would it be a good idea to
give rpmfusion precedence over fedora?
Depends on your use-case and the legal situation in your country.
The Fedora packages are supposed to be legally safe for commercial use
in the USA, while this does not apply to the rpmfusion packages.
