Okay, now both krusader and smplayer seems to have long
all their text, except for the first letter and any
numbers. Capitol letters seems to come out.

How in the world do I fix this?

I renamed my ~/.config. Then copied the old entries
over from it to a new ~/.config about three directories
at a time. Each tem firing up smplayer to see if
it weirded out. Never did. All fixed now.
