I never get to the boot menu. It just jumps directly to the grub prompt, which is what I've been saying all along. Considering the lack of relevance of many of the responses, I'm beginning to wonder if you don't believe me, or just aren't reading enough of my posts to understand that what you want to suggest is either irrelevant, impossible or both.
