As Fedora Server WG we are starting to  pursue a project to use an ARM SBC (very low power consumption) to create a dedicated 24/7 monitor appliance. Currently, I'm leaning towards OpenNMS (https://www.opennms.com/horizon/) as the monitor software of choice. Icinga might be an alternative. Maybe we can cooperate on this.
