Sway is a tiling window manager/compositor for Wayland.

Not sure what you’re talking about, it certainly isn’t a Microsoft product.  Sway is a Wayland-based compositor that is a replacement for i3 (a tiling WM for X11).

For what it’s worth, it does appear that there is an automation tool for wlroot-based compositors (such as sway): wrlctl ( ). It’s not packaged for fedora yet, though.
