Note that you can see the console output during startup by pressing Esc after the flashscreen shows. I don't know if there's a way to get it during shutdown.
That works (much of the time) during shutdown, too. But often it takes a while for the logging to start showing up. And occasionally, no logging shows up. So it would be better if the logging showed up automatically, by default. Then hitting the Esc could be used to turn it off. By the time I realize something seems to be wrong during shutdown, it's already too late to hit the Esc to turn on shutdown logging. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
