Could this be a bug in "Minimal Install"? I installed fedora server
edition instead and I am fine now. WIth the reinstall. There was no
traceroute in the minimal install.
It's not a bug. traceroute isn't a critical program, so it doesn't
belong in minimal. Possibly the minimal install doesn't include some of
the kernel modules or firmware files needed for your wifi device. But
you really didn't provide most of the requested information to figure
out what was going on. So I guess stick with the server install since
that works for you.
