I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out regarding an
issue I encountered after upgrading to the latest version of Fedora
(F38) with running DOSBox-X exe files directly from the Thunar file
manager.
Previously, on my previous version of Fedora (F37), I could simply
double-click on the icon of an exe program in Thunar, and it would run
seamlessly. However, since the upgrade, I have noticed that this
functionality is no longer working as expected.
I don't use that file manager, so this is a bit of a guess. You also
don't say what does happen. Assuming that running it from the command
line works, try right-clicking the file and see what is configured to
open it.
Thanks, Samuel, for your answer.
When I right-click, I get the option
Open with "DOSBox-X",
but after clicking on that, nothing happens.
Did you try running it from the command line?
