Anyone know what is up with this: [root@zooty /]# dnf install mplayer google-chrome 4.9 kB/s | 3.6 kB 00:00 Error: Problem: problem with installed package libswscale-free-6.0-4.fc38.x86_64 - package ffmpeg-libs-6.0-6.fc38.x86_64 conflicts with libswscale-free provided by libswscale-free-6.0-4.fc38.x86_64 - package ffmpeg-libs-6.0-6.fc38.x86_64 conflicts with libswscale-free provided by libswscale-free-6.0-2.fc38.x86_64 - package mplayer-1.5.1-0.4.20230228svn.fc38.x86_64 requires ffmpeg-libs(x86-64), but none of the providers can be installed - conflicting requests (try to add '--allowerasing' to command line to replace conflicting packages or '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages) Is there some mish-mash of free and non free stuff conflicting with rpmfusion mplayer these days? Checking to see what uses libswscale-free, I see scads of things that would be deleted by removing it. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
