I updated one of the affected systems to kernel 6.0.18-200.fc36.x86_64 from updates-testing, and I was able to reboot (to activate the new kernel), login, do a "ls" on the CIFS mount on a tree that has many files, and then reboot again, all without issue. Thanks to all for the help! (see https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-39b55235fc for details on this bug. Also, note that while a lot of the info is for Fedora 37, it also applies to the same kernel(s) fo r Fedora 36.) _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
